In order for Xink addin to work with Outlook for Mac, User must switch to NEW outlook (Screenshot below)
The add-in does not work on Outlook for Mac "classic UI".
This is also documented by Microsoft here.
The Xink add-in minimum requirement set 1.10 and only the "new UI" of Outlook for Mac supports 1.10. (Screenshot below)
