How to Segment Email Signature Campaigns in Xink

Email signature marketing turns every employee email into a marketing touchpoint. With Xink Campaigns, you can create targeted campaigns aligned with your business goals.

You can segment campaigns by location, department, role, or audience, preview them before launch, and measure performance using marketing analytics.

Segment a campaign by signature template

Apply a campaign to users based on the email signature template they use:

  1. Go to the CAMPAIGNS menu.
  2. Select a campaign and choose the email signatures it should be added to.

The campaign will appear below the email signature for employees using the selected template.

To preview:

  1. Go to the SIGNATURES menu
  2. Select an employee and click Preview

Click OK to launch or schedule the campaign.

Segment a campaign by employee groups (rules)

Use rules to target employees based on attributes such as department, role, or location.

Important

Once you create a campaign rule, it overrides template-based targeting.

To create a rule:

  1. Go to Preferences > Rules and click '+'.
  2. Select a condition (e.g. Department = Sales).
  3. Optionally add extra conditions to refine targeting.
  4. Use “Look in the next active rule” as fallback logic if needed.
  5. Select the campaign and assign it to signature templates.
  6. Click Test and then Save.

Segment a campaign by recipient

Use Recipient Email Rules to change campaigns based on who the email is sent to.

For example, show a specific campaign when emailing a particular company or domain.
