Rotate Email Signature Campaigns with Xink Rules

Summary:
Automatically rotating email signature campaigns helps increase visibility, engagement, and click-through rates (CTR). This guide explains how to use Xink campaign rules to rotate banners based on date, time, or day of the week.

Example: rotating product banners

If you promote multiple products or services, you can rotate campaigns automatically so each message gets exposure.

This ensures your audience sees varied content instead of the same banner repeatedly.

Rule: Date and Time Contains

Use this rule to control when campaigns appear based on parts of a timestamp (year, month, day, or hour).

How it works

The rule matches values from a timestamp like:

2023-01-08 11:10:09
  • "08" → matches the 8th day
  • "-08" → matches August
  • "2023-" → matches the year
  • " 11:" → matches the 11th hour
  • Combine values: "2023-";"01-";" 11:"

Time-based rotation

Even hours (e.g. Campaign A):

" 06:";" 08:";" 10:";" 12:";" 14:";" 16:"

Odd hours (e.g. Campaign B):

" 07:";" 09:";" 11:";" 13:";" 15:";" 17:"

Date-based rotation

Run Campaign A on selected days:

"-08";"-10";"-12"

Run a specific campaign on one date:

"-11-11"

Rule: Day of Week Is

Use this rule to show campaigns on specific days. Multiple formats are supported:
