Email signature marketing is one of the most effective ways to drive traffic and engagement—every employee email becomes a marketing touchpoint. With Xink Campaigns, you can create dynamic, targeted signature campaigns that align with your business goals.
Use Xink to tailor campaigns by location, department, role, or audience. You can assign banners to different employee groups, preview and test everything in advance, and analyze performance using built-in marketing analytics. A/B testing lets you refine messaging based on results.
Segment a Campaign by Signature Template
To apply a campaign to users using specific email signature templates:
- Go to the CAMPAIGNS menu.
- Select a campaign and then choose the email signatures it should be added to.
The campaign will appear below the email signature for employees using the selected template.
In the SIGNATURES menu, select employees and click Preview:
Click OK to launch or schedule the campaign.
Segment a Campaign by Employee Groups
Use campaign rules to target employees more precisely based on criteria like role, department, or office location. Rules enable dynamic logic—"if this, then that" conditions—that apply the campaign only when relevant.
Important: When you save your first campaign rule, it overrides the manual template-based settings described above.
This ensures clarity when different employees receive different campaign content.
To create a rule:
- Go to Preferences > Rules and click '+'.
- Choose your condition (e.g. department = Sales).
- Optionally use 'Use extra condition' to narrow the segment further.
- If needed, select a fallback with 'Look in the next active rule'.
- Choose the campaign and apply it to one or more signature templates.
- Click Test and then Save.
Now you've created a campaign rule:

Segment a Campaign by Recipient
Use Recipient Email Rules to show different campaigns based on who the email is being sent to. For example, target a specific campaign to emails sent to a particular customer domain.
