Which Google Workspace admin role is used for integration with Xink?

Use either a Groups Admin or Super Admin role.

You do not enter admin passwords in Xink. Authentication is handled securely through Google.

Xink only requires the email address to verify access and retrieve signature data.

Do we store any passwords?

No. Xink does not store any passwords.

Only the username (email address) of an account with at least Groups Admin permissions is required.

How are permissions managed?

Permissions are controlled in the Google Admin Console based on the API access you approve.

Xink is not granted admin rights to your Google Workspace environment.

How to assign an admin role

Sign in to the Google Admin Console:

https://admin.google.com

  1. Go to Admin roles and click Assign admin.

  2. Select the user you want to assign the role to and grant Groups Admin permissions.

You can now use this account for the Xink integration.
