This guide explains how to test your email signature using Apple Mail on iOS.
It only applies after you have completed the Server-Side (Rerouting) configuration.
With server-side signatures, the signature is added when the email is sent.
Because of this, the signature is not visible while composing the email. It will only appear in the email received by the recipient.
Testing with Apple Mail (iOS)
By default, the iOS Mail app uses the signature “Sent from my iPhone”.
When testing server-side signatures, this default text is typically replaced during processing and sending.
Note: The Mail app sends messages in Plain Text by default. When using Plain Text, only the default text strings are replaced.
To allow full HTML signatures, change the email format to HTML.
