Short answer:
Deploy the Xink Legacy Client to automatically update email signatures in Classic Outlook on Windows for Azure AD-joined devices.
Legacy Client Compatibility
The Legacy Xink client supports Azure AD-joined machines and only updates signatures in Classic Outlook.
If you are using New Outlook, Outlook on the web, or mobile Outlook, use the cross-platform Outlook add-in to update signatures across all devices (including Classic Outlook).
Pre-requisites
- Only joined devices are supported (not linked work accounts).
- The login email must match the employee record in Xink (e.g., john.doe@company.com).
How to install
- In the Xink Web Admin, go to Preferences > Download and download IT: Download Xink Client (.MSI Package).

- Generate a Domain Authentication Token (if not already created) and copy the full token.
- Install or deploy XinkClientSetupAD.msi using your preferred deployment tool.
Ensure the token is written to the registry:
Registry path:HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Policies\Xink\Xink Client AD\ADConfig
SCCM deployment
If you are using SCCM, you can deploy the MSI and registry keys without GPO.
See this guide for details.
Note
Restart target devices after deployment to complete installation.
Intune deployment
Use Microsoft Intune to deploy the Xink client:
Microsoft Intune documentation
- Add XinkClientSetupAD.msi as a Line-of-Business (LOB) app.

- In App Information, use:

If UPN and SMTP differ, add:USEOUTLOOKPROFILENAMEASEMAIL=True
- Assign to users or devices and click Review + Save.

Click Create and allow time for deployment.
- Verify installation:
- Check Programs and Features for “Xink AD Client”.
- Confirm the DomainAuthToken registry key exists.
- On login,
emsclient.exeruns and updates signatures.
