How to Move Your Xink Account to Another Data Center

Important: Contact Support First

Before requesting a move of a Managed Account, please contact Xink Support.
After the migration, we will ensure the account is correctly linked to your Managed Accounts.

Short answer:
To move your Xink account to another data center, submit a support request and prepare your integrations before the migration.

Step 1: Locate your current data center

You can find your current data center in the Dashboard of your Xink account (bottom right corner):

Step 2: Submit a support request

An authorized administrator must submit a support ticket.

Include the following details in the request:

  • Request type: Data center move
  • Target region: US, CA, UK, EU, or AU
  • Subject: "Request to move from XX to XX – [Company Name]"

Step 3: Prepare your setup before the move

Server-side (rerouting) setup

  1. Remove and unmap your domains from the current setup before the migration.
  2. After the move, reconfigure the server-side integration from scratch.

Active Directory (on-premises) sync

  1. Download the latest version of EMSADExport.exe from the new data center.
  2. Replace the existing file in your environment.
  3. Recommended: Consider switching to Entra ID (Azure AD) for easier maintenance.

Step 4: After the migration

  1. Wait for confirmation from Xink Support that the move is complete.
  2. Reconfigure any integrations if required.
  3. Verify that signatures and data sync are working as expected.

Explanation

Xink accounts are hosted in regional data centers. Moving an account requires coordination to ensure data integrity and proper reconnection of integrations such as server-side routing or directory sync.
