Why are logos missing from my email signature on iPhone (Mail app)?

Short answer:
When composing a new email in the Mail app on iOS, the message may be created in plain text, which does not support images such as logos.

Why this happens

On iPhone, the native Mail app (iOS) may default to plain text when starting a new email.

  • Plain text emails do not support images, formatting, or logos
  • Your signature appears without branding elements
  • This behavior is controlled by Apple and cannot be changed by Xink

Why logos appear when replying

If you reply to an email that was originally sent in HTML format, your response will also use HTML.

  • Your full signature (including logos) will appear
  • The original email format is preserved in the reply

Possible workaround

You may be able to adjust settings on your iPhone to send emails in HTML format instead of plain text.

Note

This behavior is controlled by Apple and may vary depending on iOS version.

Summary

  • New emails in the iOS Mail app may use plain text (no logos)
  • Replies keep HTML format and show logos
  • This is an Apple-controlled behavior
