Xink supports email signatures for macOS, including all versions back to El Capitan (v10.11).
You can even preview your email signature while composing a new message.
How to Invite Users
Go to the Employees menu, click the gear icon, and select Send Invitation Email:
Each user will receive an invitation email from your Xink account administrator (the sender will be @xink.io
).
The invitation email includes a download link for the Xink Client App and a unique access token.
Example Invitation Email
Installing the Xink App for Mac
Save the installer, drag it into your Applications folder, then double-click to launch.
The app will appear in your menu bar, displaying the Xink logo on a white background.
Enter Token
Click the Xink icon and select Enter access code. The code connects the app to the user's Xink account.
The Xink icon turns white when connected. If it is red, the app is not connected.
Under Preferences, uncheck I’m using iCloud Drive if it is not applicable. Leave it checked otherwise.
Users will be notified when admins make updates. Click the Xink icon and select Update signatures.
Mac Mail must be closed during the update. A confirmation will follow.
Note: You might see this error during update: \"The Operation could not be completed\".
Configure Mac Mail to Use the Xink Signature
Go to Mail > Preferences > Signatures.
Xink will store downloaded signatures in the All Signatures section.
Before Update
Drag and drop the signature from \"All Signatures\" to the desired email account (e.g., Office 365).
If Delete all existing email signatures was selected in Xink portal, users will need to reassign their signatures manually.
After Update
Set the Default Signature for Mac Mail
Go to Mail > Preferences > Signatures, select your email account, and assign the default signature.
Compose a new email to verify that the correct signature appears.
