The API Method

Xink updates Gmail signatures within one hour. After configuration, allow up to an hour for the signature to appear in Gmail.

Step 1 – Google Admin Console Configuration

You grant Xink the required Google API permission to inject the user's signature through the Google API.

With the credentials used to administer your Google accounts, sign in to the Google Admin console at https://admin.google.com.

  1. Go to Security > API Controls

  2. Under the Domain-Wide Delegation section, click Manage domain-wide delegation.
  3. Click Add New. Fill in the following:

    Client ID:
    27708099835-fmptu081sib9tn8v35ksjmc0knukd3mu.apps.googleusercontent.com

    OAuth Scopes:
    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.settings.basic,https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.settings.sharing

  4. Click Authorize. You will now see the entry added to the list.

Step 2 – Xink Portal Configuration

  1. Log in to the Xink portal and go to:
    Preferences > Integration > Google Workspace
    Click Enable, enter your Google Workspace admin account (with at least User and Group read permissions), and click Save.
  2. Wait one hour, log in to Gmail and click Compose to verify that the Xink signature is applied.
