IT Pro: How to successfully integrate Outlook on the web with App Passwords

The first step is to ensure that you have a Microsoft  365 user account with at least E1 license and Application Impersonation is enabled for this account.

Then, make sure that you have enabled and enforced MFA (Multi-Factor Auth) status for your Global Administrator user.

Next, you will need to obtain an App Password from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Just click here to be redirected directly to the App Passwords site as shown below. Click on App Passwords tab, then Create and make sure to Copy and Save the code generated from here.

Please allow for up to 1 hour for replication from your Admin Center before you proceed to the Xink Portal, then go to Preferences>Integration Tab>Microsoft 365 (Outlook on the web) and fill in the information required and use the App Password you have saved and generated previously as per instructions above.

Last, in order to ensure you have successfully enabled the integration. Click on check connectivity and you should see the area where it says Successfully discovered service... Click on Save.
