Reply/Forward signature in Gmail

Feedback from users in my organisation: It would be very helpful to be able to set Xink signatures as default in replies and forwarded messages in Gmail, not just new emails.

    I checked a few of your rules and you did assign the reply/forward signature > Which user is not getting a reply/forward signature assigned, please?

    Thanks for getting back to me. This seems to be the case for all users, regardless of which signature is assigned (we always tick the "Override Reply/Forward" box). If I set the reply/forward signature to the Xink signature in my Gmail settings, it stays, however we would like to not have to ask users to do this manually.

  • I concur with Rebecca - we are having issues with the Reply/Forward signature not working in Gmail. We have the default email signature set for Forward/Reply, and we've set it in our rules, and have had no luck with them working. A support page shows it's not compatible with G Suite. I've encountered several things that are not available on G Suite that we did not know at the time we signed up.

  • I'll provide a quick update regarding the Google Workspace integration.

    We designed the integration using Google API, and it worked great for many years (without re-routing of your company emails) - Hurray!

    When Google updated their UI (reply email signature), they did not update their API. We reached out to Google support, and there is no ETA on when they will update their API - Unfortunately.

    We have decided to offer an alternative method and are investigating two methods instead of the API. We hope to launch before June 2023.
