Issue description

 

You import the certificate under the computer account and updating signature fails with these errors:

 

 

ERROR - WEB EXCEPTION: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
ERROR - SYNC ERROR: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

 

If the certificate is imported under the user account, the signature updates successfully. What seems to be the issue?

 

Solution

 

We do not offer support for certificates added as per-machine. If you choose to do this anyways we are not able to help you if you see issues like this.

 

By installing the certificate into the local machine store, you must configure the certificate's private key access permissions for the users. It is a complex task and we are not able to support this.

 

The solution is to install it per-user instead.
